About Agarwal Today and its team
Agarwal Today, since its inception three years ago, has been a continuous exercise in
constructive journalism, all related to the Agarwal community. From rather humble beginnings, it
has developed into a publication that is worldwide in its reach and international standard in its
maturity. English and Hindi combine together to overcome any barriers of language, making
Agarwal Today an ideal forum for news, views, issues and information relating to Agarwals of the
world.
The online version and extension of the newspaper, AgarwalToday.com, was launched in May
2007. The portal features an e-version of the paper, as well as numerous informative and
entertaining content that pertains to Agarwals of the twenty-first century.
Dr. G P Agarwal, M.A., Ph.D., C.A.I.I.B., is the founder editor of Agarwal Today. He is an avid
writer since school days and has to his credit many articles and papers in numerous magazines
and journals. Recently he has authored a book on 'Banking Administration'. Presently he is
engaged in 'Agarwal - Kal, Aaj Aur Kal', a comprehensive look at Agarwals - their history, current
affairs and fantasies.
Manju Agarwal, M.Sc., is the editor of Agarwal Today. She is involved in various social issues,
and reads and writes a lot for the same.
Agrasen Durbar Sewa Samiti (ADSS) is a non-profit organisation established in 1996 with two
main motives. First, creating a forum for bringing together, bereft of political or other vested
interests, all the Agarwals of the world and fostering greater ties and community feelings. And
second, facilitating and working towards the betterment of people in the society who are less
fortunate in any way.
ADSS continues to work towards these two motives and is gradually reaching out to greater
numbers, in the society in general and among Agarwals in particular.
You are welcome to participate in the social activities of ADSS. Just send us a mail at
